Charging Vehicle for Open-Pit Mining

Our Charging Vehicle for Open-Pit Mining has a remote controlled hose feeder and a charging capacity of 200 kg of finished explosive per minute.

The vehicle is built on a Volvo FMX, a robust chassis designed for extreme working conditions, and is fitted with our in-house developed hose feeder that is mounted on a remote-controlled boom.

The vehicle’s storage tank holds 16 200 litres, which equals 19 tonnes of explosives. To ensure safe handling, there are separate tanks for the various components. The ingredients are mixed in a special mixer housing and a detonable explosive is formed only when the emulsion and gassing agent are pumped into the borehole.
