Kiruna-based Nybergs Mekaniska Verkstad has acquired a 51% stake in Jokkmokk company Galvteknik i Norr AB, from Jokkmokks Allm\u00e4nning AB.<\/p>\n
Dan Ek, CEO of Galvteknik i Norr AB commented:<\/p>\n
\u201cThrough our new partner, we gain access to much greater sales opportunities, both to existing customers and to new customers via Nybergsgruppen.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
The company currently has five employees and a permit to carry out hot dip galvanizing of 4000 tonnes of products per year. By strengthening its sales capabilities the company aims to deliver more to both existing and new markets in northern Scandinavia. The selling shareholder, Jokkmokks Allm\u00e4nning AB, was founded as a measure to support the local economy of Jokkmokk. By remaining part owner of Galvteknik AB the company will continue to support employment in Jokkmokk but opens up for the possibility that Nybergs Mekaniska will bail out the company in the future.<\/p>\n
Christian Rimpi of Jokkmokks Allm\u00e4nning AB said:<\/p>\n

The acquisition complements Nybergs Mekaniska\u2019s overall service offering and strengthens the company\u2019s geographical presence in Norrbotten and the new Malmf\u00e4lten.<\/p>\n
Niklas P\u00e4\u00e4j\u00e4rvi, Co-owner of Nybergs Mekaniska Verkstad, commented:<\/p>\n
